The 3M™ cloth belt 341D measures 25" x 48" with P100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable x-weight cotton cloth backing designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. This abrasive belt is suitable for wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanding on metal substrates and wood, providing continuous cut and long-life performance for more aggressive dry sanding tasks. The belt features a closed coat construction for consistent fine finishing on metal and grain pattern production but should not be used wet. The aluminum oxide mineral abrasive is adhered with a strong resin bond that withstands high heat and pressure, making it ideal for ferrous alloys and a wide variety of materials. Available in various widths and lengths, these belts fit most industrial belt sanders including wide belt sanders for dimensioning or finishing wood panels and smoothing metal edges, edge sanders for flat narrow surfaces, and portable belt sanders for blending wood pieces. The belts come with different splice types; the film media splice provides a secure bond with a joining film that reduces chatter marks and ensures smooth operation. The product includes a warranty covering manufacturing defects under standard terms.
