3M™ Cloth Belt 341D measures 37 inches by 75 inches and features 60 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing, providing continuous cut and long-life performance suitable for aggressive dry sanding applications. This belt is designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking tasks, compatible with wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanders, and works effectively on metal substrates including ferrous alloys as well as wood. The closed coat construction offers a consistent, fine finish and is suitable for producing grain patterns on metal surfaces; however, this belt should not be run wet. The aluminum oxide mineral abrasive is bonded to withstand high heat and pressure, making it a popular industrial abrasive known for its cut rate, durability, and long life.
