The 3M™ cloth belt 341D measures 42" x 84" and features a P240 grit aluminum oxide abrasive designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It is compatible with wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanding tools, suitable for a variety of metal substrates and wood. The belt consists of fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing, providing continuous cut and long-life performance for more aggressive dry sanding tasks. Its closed coat construction ensures a consistent, fine finish appropriate for metal finishing and grain pattern production. The belt is not designed for wet use. The aluminum oxide mineral is well-known for its cut rate, durability, and longevity across various materials including ferrous alloys, making it a commonly used industrial abrasive.
