The 3M™ Cloth Belt 341D measures 6 inches by 48 inches and features 24 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing, providing continuous cut and long-life performance for aggressive dry sanding applications. Designed for metal finishing, its closed coat construction offers a consistent, fine finish suitable for producing a grain pattern, and it is not intended for wet use. The aluminum oxide mineral is widely used in industrial settings due to its cut-rate, durability, and longevity, making it effective for a variety of materials including ferrous alloys in both woodworking and metalworking.
