3M™ cloth belt 341D 36" x 75" 36 grit aluminum oxide is a durable abrasive belt designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It features fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a rugged X-weight cotton cloth backing, providing continuous cut and long-life performance ideal for aggressive dry sanding. The closed coat construction produces a consistent, fine finish suitable for metal finishing and grain pattern production. This belt should not be operated wet. Aluminum oxide mineral is widely used in industrial applications due to its cut rate, durability, and longevity on materials including ferrous alloys. The abrasive grains are bonded with resin to withstand high heat and pressure. Available in dimensions of 36 inches by 75 inches with 36 grit, this belt fits a range of sanding tools: wide belts for dimensioning or finishing wood panels and smoothing metal sheet edges, medium widths for edge sanding flat or narrow surfaces, and narrow belts for portable sanders used in wood piece blending.
