The 3M™ Cloth Belt 341D measures 25" x 75" and features P120 grit aluminum oxide abrasive, designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It is suitable for use with wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanders on metal substrates and wood. The belt uses fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing, providing continuous cut and long-life performance for aggressive dry sanding. Its closed coat construction offers a consistent, fine finish and is appropriate for grain pattern production on metal surfaces. This belt is not intended for wet use. Aluminum oxide mineral is known for its cut rate, durability, and long life, making it suitable for a variety of materials, including ferrous alloys. The resin bond adheres abrasive particles to the cloth backing, withstanding high heat and pressure. Abrasive belts are available in various widths and lengths to fit different sanding tools and applications, with wider belts used for dimensioning or finishing wood panels and smoothing metal edges, medium-width belts for edge sanding flat surfaces like panel edges, and narrow belts for portable sanding or blending wood pieces. Belts are constructed with different splice methods to securely join the ends and minimize chatter marks. The product includes a warranty that applies under specified terms of use.
