The 3M™ cloth belt 361F measures 37" x 75" and features an 80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive for durability and consistent performance on grinding, blending, deburring, and finishing all metals, including stainless steel. The belt is designed for stainless steel coil finishing, offering flexibility, durability, and heat resistance. It uses durable aluminum oxide abrasive grains for fast cutting on various surfaces, supported by a tough polyester backing that delivers consistent results in medium-pressure applications. The abrasive is bonded to the backing with a heat-resistant resin coating that withstands pressure, heat, and water. The belt’s construction is suitable for grinding sheets and coils, as well as centerless and backstand applications, and it can be used in both wet and dry processes. Typical applications include coil polishing, plate grinding and polishing, sheet grinding and polishing, and slab grinding.
