3M™ Cloth Belt 341D 52" x 75" 60 Grit Aluminum Oxide is a durable abrasive belt designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It is suitable for use with wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanders and can be applied to a variety of metal substrates and wood. The belt features fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable x-weight cotton cloth backing, providing continuous cut and long-life performance necessary for aggressive dry sanding applications, though it should not be run wet. The closed coat construction delivers a consistent fine finish ideal for producing a grain pattern on metal. Aluminum oxide mineral provides excellent cut rate, durability, and longevity, suitable for use on ferrous alloys and various materials in woodworking and metalworking. The abrasive particles are bonded with resin to withstand high heat and pressure. Available in multiple widths and lengths, the belts are compatible with a wide range of industrial belt sanders for dimensioning, finishing wood panels, smoothing metal sheet edges, or adding grain patterns to stainless steel.
