It uses a premium grade aluminum oxide for improved cut and abrasive life, with a heavyweight cloth backing that is washable and suited for both rough sanding and final finishing on wide belt and edge sanding applications. The open coat design and anti-static treatment reduce loading, enhancing cut-rate and abrasive longevity, particularly in woodworking applications. The resin bond withstands high heat and pressure, providing longer service life, making this belt suitable for sanding wood with high pitch or resin content such as pine.
