Recommended for wide belt sanding, edge sanding, and portable belt sanding, it features fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains that are resin-bonded to a durable cotton cloth backing, ensuring a continuous cut and long life. The open coat and load-resistant coating make it particularly effective for sanding soft woods, while the washable backing is ideal for high production environments that require periodic cleaning to remove resin or pitch buildup. This aluminum oxide mineral is favored by industrial professionals for its cutting efficiency, durability, and longevity, applicable on various materials in woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. The abrasive particles are securely bonded to the cloth backing with resin, enabling it to withstand high heat and pressure.
