The 3M™ Cloth Belt 370DZ measures 37" x 60" and features P120 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It is an open coat product utilizing a premium grade aluminum oxide mineral on a cloth backing, making it suitable for both rough sanding and final finishing on wide belt and edge sanding applications. The premium aluminum oxide provides improved cut and abrasive life, while the open coat construction and anti-static treatment reduce loading, enhancing cut-rate and optimizing abrasive life specifically in woodworking applications. The heavyweight cloth backing is designed for coarser grades on wide belt and edge sanding tasks, and the washable backing is effective for sanding wood with high pitch or resin content, such as pine, which typically causes quick loading of belts. The resin bond is formulated to withstand high heat and pressure, contributing to a longer service life. This product is primarily intended for wide belt sanding.
