The 3M™ cloth belt 370DZ measures 37" x 75" and features an 80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It is an open coat product utilizing a premium grade aluminum oxide mineral, providing improved cut and abrasive life. The cloth backing makes the belt suitable for both rough sanding and final finishing, specifically designed for wide belt and edge sanding applications. Its heavyweight cloth backing is ideal for coarser grades, while the washable backing helps prevent loading when sanding wood with high pitch or resin content, such as pine. The resin bond is engineered to withstand high heat and pressure, resulting in a longer service life. The belt includes anti-static treatment to reduce loading, enhancing cut rate and abrasive life, particularly in woodworking applications, and is intended for use in wide belt sanding tasks.
