The 3M™ cloth belt 341D measures 37" x 60" and features P120 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains, resin-bonded to a durable x-weight cotton cloth backing. Designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications, this belt is suitable for wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanding on metal substrates and wood. The fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive offers continuous cut and long-life performance for aggressive dry sanding applications, while the closed coat construction provides a consistent fine finish and a grain pattern on metal surfaces. This belt is not intended for wet use. Aluminum oxide mineral is favored in industrial applications for its cutting rate, durability, and long life, and the resin bond withstands high heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths, these abrasive belts accommodate wide belt sanders for dimensioning or finishing wood panels and smoothing metal edges, medium-width belts for edge sanding flat, narrow surfaces, and narrow belts for portable belt sanders used in woodworking such as cabinet doors.
