The 3M™ Cloth Belt 341D measures 37" x 60" with P180 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing, designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It is suitable for wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanding on metal substrates and wood. The belt features fast-cutting aluminum oxide grains for continuous cut and long-life performance in aggressive dry sanding, with a closed coat construction that delivers a consistent, fine finish ideal for producing a grain pattern on metal. It should not be used wet. Aluminum oxide mineral provides durability, high cut rate, and long life and is effective on ferrous alloys and various materials in woodworking and metalworking. The resin bond withstands high heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths, this belt fits industrial belt sanders for different applications, with wider belts used on wide belt sanders to dimension or finish wood panels and metal sheets, medium-width belts for edge sanders to sand flat narrow surfaces such as panel edges, and narrow belts for portable belt sanders to sand or blend wood pieces.
