The 3M™ cloth belt 341D measures 4" x 36" and features P180 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing. It delivers continuous cut and long-life performance for more aggressive dry sanding applications, particularly suitable for finishing metal with its closed coat construction that offers a consistent, fine finish and the ability to produce a grain pattern. This belt is not designed for wet use. The aluminum oxide abrasive is known for its cut-rate, durability, and long life, making it a popular choice for industrial professionals and applicable on a variety of materials including ferrous alloys in woodworking and metalworking. The resin bond adheres the abrasive particles firmly to the cloth backing, allowing the belt to withstand high heat and pressure during use.
