The 3M™ cloth belt 341D measures 30" x 103" with P150 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing, designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications. It is suitable for wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanding and provides continuous cut and long-life performance for more aggressive dry sanding. The belt features a closed coat construction for finishing on metal, delivering a consistent, fine finish and suitable for producing a grain pattern; it is not recommended for wet use. The aluminum oxide mineral offers a high cut rate, durability, and long life, making it ideal for a wide range of materials including ferrous alloys. The resin bonding creates a strong bond that withstands high heat and pressure. Abrasive belts come in different widths and lengths to fit various belt sanding tools, with wider belts for wide belt sanders used for dimensioning or finishing wood panels and smoothing metal sheet edges, medium-width belts for edge sanders sanding flat narrow surfaces, and narrow belts for portable sanders to blend wood pieces.
