The 3M™ Cloth Belt 341D measures 37" x 75" and features P320 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable X-weight cotton cloth backing. It is designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and some woodworking applications, suitable for wide belt, edge, or portable belt sanding on metal substrates and wood. The fast-cutting aluminum oxide mineral ensures continuous cut and long-life performance for more aggressive dry sanding applications, with a closed coat construction that provides a consistent, fine finish and suitability for producing a grain pattern on metal. This belt should not be used wet. The aluminum oxide abrasive is chosen for its cut-rate, durability, and long life, compatible with a variety of materials including ferrous alloys. The abrasive particles are bonded with resin to withstand high heat and pressure. Available in multiple widths and lengths, the belts fit many industrial belt sanders: wider belts for dimensioning or finishing wood panels and smoothing metal sheet edges, medium-width belts for sanding flat narrow surfaces like panel edges, and narrow belts for portable sanders used on wood pieces such as cabinet doors. The belts include various splices to join ends, such as a film media splice for a secure bond minimizing chatter marks. The product complies with relevant industry standards and comes with a warranty as specified by 3M for industrial abrasives.
