The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1/2" x 30" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated onto an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. This belt is designed for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for use in industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
