The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1-1/2" x 168" and features A6 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows the abrasive pyramids to wear in a way that continuously exposes fresh, sharp mineral, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
