The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA is sized at 3" x 132" with A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed to ensure a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across various industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
