The 3M™ paper belt 366UZ measures 52" x 103" with a P150 grit aluminum oxide abrasive constructed in a closed coat format on a heavy F-weight paper backing. This anti-static belt resists loading and is designed for efficient sanding and finishing of flat surfaces in woodworking applications. The F-weight backing is one of the heaviest and most rigid papers available, providing smoother operation and greater durability for finer finishes compared to cloth-backed belts of the same grit. The closed coat structure offers greater grain density for finer finishes than open coat belts. The belt incorporates 3M Dust Management Technology that reduces static in dust particles, facilitating their removal when used with an efficient dust collection system. The belt ends are joined with a film media splice, a thin film-joining media that minimizes chatter marks and ensures smooth running in either direction for consistent finishing results. The premium aluminum oxide abrasive is known for its high cut-rate, long life, toughness, durability, self-fracturing properties exposing fresh cutting edges during use, and is applicable for sanding and finishing a wide range of substrates including ferrous alloys in woodworking and metalworking.
