The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1/2" x 72" and features A6 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows for continual exposure of fresh, sharp mineral as the abrasive pyramids wear down, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
