The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1/4" x 18" and features aluminum oxide A30 grit. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed to ensure a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
