The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1-1/2" x 72" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, forming micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into tiny pyramids coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, producing a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
