The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1-1/2" x 72" and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, producing a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is designed for applications including blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
