The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1" x 11" and features A100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral, which are then coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing. It is intended for use in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
