The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 237AA is a 1" x 11" abrasive belt made with aluminum oxide A45 grit, utilizing proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows for continuous exposure of fresh, sharp mineral as the pyramids wear down, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing, and is commonly used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
