The 3M™ Cubitron™ II belt 947A measures 3/4" x 18" and features a ceramic 120 grit precision-shaped abrasive grain coated on an X-weight poly-cotton backing. It is resin bonded for heat resistance and is recommended for dry use. This belt delivers outstanding results for a wide range of applications, from high-pressure automated grinding to low and medium-pressure offhand operations, and is compatible with equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. It is suitable for tasks including descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right-angle grinding, shaping, and metalworking in industries such as builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
