The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL belt 947A measures 3/4" x 20 1/2" and features 60 grit ceramic precision shaped abrasive grain coated on an X-weight poly-cotton backing. The belt is resin bonded for heat resistance and is recommended for dry use. It delivers outstanding performance across a range of applications including high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations on equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. Typical uses include descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, shaping metalworking, and are suited to industries such as builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
