The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 217EA measures 4" x 132" with A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, forming micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into tiny pyramid-shaped abrasive minerals coated on a J weight rayon backing. As these pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping. It is suitable for industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
