The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1/4" x 24" and features aluminum oxide A16 grit abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated on an X weight cloth backing. This structure ensures that as the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, maintaining a consistent cut and delivering a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
