The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 237AA measures 2 inches by 48 inches and features A80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, forming micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into tiny pyramids that are coated on an X weight cloth backing. This design allows the abrasive pyramids to wear in a way that continually exposes fresh, sharp mineral, resulting in a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
