The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 2" x 60" and features A80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids on an X weight cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable fine finish. The belt is designed for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for use in industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
