The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1-1/2" x 132" and features A160 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral coated on an X weight cloth backing. As these pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
