The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 2" x 72" and features A160 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, providing a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is designed for applications such as blending, centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, refining, and stroke sanding. It is suitable for industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
