The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL belt 947A measures 1" x 11" and features an 80 grit ceramic precision-shaped abrasive grain coated on a x-weight, poly-cotton backing. It is resin bonded for heat resistance and is recommended for dry use. The belt delivers outstanding results on a variety of applications, including high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations. It is compatible with equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. Typical applications include descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, and shaping. It is suitable for use in metalworking tasks involving builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
