The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL Belt 947A measures 1/2" x 18" and features a 60 grit ceramic precision shaped abrasive grain coated on an x-weight poly-cotton backing, which is resin bonded for heat resistance. It is recommended for dry use and delivers outstanding results across various applications including high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations. The belt is compatible with equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. Typical applications include descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, shaping metalworking, as well as use in builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures industries.
