The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL Belt 947A measures 1/4" x 24" and features 120 grit ceramic precision shaped abrasive grain coated on an X-weight poly-cotton backing that is resin bonded for heat resistance. It is recommended for dry use and is suitable for a variety of applications including high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations. The belt is compatible with equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. Typical applications include descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, and shaping metalworking parts. It is commonly used in industries such as builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
