The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Belt 947A measures 1/4" x 24" and features 80 grit precision-shaped ceramic abrasive grain coated on an X-weight poly-cotton backing with resin bonding for heat resistance. It is recommended for dry use and delivers outstanding results in various applications, including high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations, on equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. The belt is suitable for tasks like descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right-angle grinding, and shaping in metalworking.
