The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 217EA measures 4" x 168" and features A30 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary Micro Replication Technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny abrasive pyramids coated on a J weight rayon backing. This design allows the pyramids to wear evenly, continually exposing fresh, sharp mineral to provide a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping. It serves industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
