The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL belt 947A measures 2 inches by 132 inches and features ceramic 80 grit precision-shaped abrasive grain coated on a x-weight poly-cotton backing. The belt is resin bonded to provide heat resistance and is recommended for dry use. It delivers outstanding results across a range of applications including high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations on equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. Typical uses include descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, shaping metalworking, and fabrication tasks in industries such as builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
