The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 217EA measures 2-1/4" x 148" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It utilizes proprietary micro replication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are shaped into tiny pyramids and coated on a J weight rayon backing. As these abrasive pyramids wear, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed to deliver a consistent cut and predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping. It serves industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
