The 3M™ TRISECT™ Cloth Belt 217EA measures 2-1/4" x 148" with A65 grit aluminum oxide abrasive, utilizing proprietary micro replication technology where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids and coated on a J weight rayon backing. This design ensures that as the abrasive particles wear, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications including blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping, across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
