The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 2" x 132" and features an A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a resin structure designed to break down under medium pressure, maintaining fresh, sharp mineral cutting for consistent finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. It includes a grinding aid that helps prevent heat buildup, warping, and discoloration. The belt is built on an X-weight, durable cloth backing that offers control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding, while the resin bonded abrasive provides greater heat resistance and helps prevent delaminating. The belt uses a film media splice, a strong, secure bond joining the belt ends with a thin film-joining media that minimizes chatter marks, ensuring a smooth-running belt and consistent finishing results.
