The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 2" x 132" and features A45 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a resin structure designed to break down under medium pressure, maintaining fresh, sharp mineral cutting for consistent finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. It includes a grinding aid to prevent heat buildup, warping, and discoloration. The belt is constructed on an X-weight durable cloth backing that provides control, conformability, and effective medium-pressure grinding, with resin-bonded abrasive for greater heat resistance and delaminating prevention. A film media splice securely joins the belt ends with a thin film-joining media that minimizes chatter marks, ensuring smooth belt operation and consistent finishing results. Proprietary Trisect™ abrasives produce finer finishes, achieve faster results, and last longer than conventional abrasives, starting sharp and staying sharp to enable more predictable finishes and consistent quality. These belts can last up to five times longer than conventional discs and offer precise finish control, reducing the need for multiple grade sequences and abrasive products. Their three-dimensional abrasive structures are uniformly distributed for consistent performance and elimination of disc-to-disc variation.
