The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL belt 947A measures 2" x 72" and features ceramic 80 grit precision-shaped abrasive grain coated on a x-weight poly-cotton backing, resin bonded for heat resistance. It is recommended for dry use and delivers outstanding performance across applications such as high-pressure automated grinding and low to medium pressure offhand operations. Compatible with equipment including backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders, it is suitable for descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, and shaping. Common applications include metalworking tasks related to builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
