The 3M™ Cubitron™ LL belt 947A measures 3" x 132" and features a ceramic 60 grit precision shaped abrasive grain coated on an X-weight, poly-cotton backing. It is resin bonded for heat resistance and is recommended for dry use. This belt delivers outstanding results in applications ranging from high-pressure, automated grinding to low and medium pressure offhand operations on equipment such as backstands, file belt sanders, inline sanders, and stroke sanders. It is suitable for descaling, finishing, intermediate finishing, light grinding, mill scale removal, radiusing, right angle grinding, shaping metalworking, and is applied in industries including builders hardware, metal fabrication, metal implants, and plumbing fixtures.
