The 3M™ Trisect™ Cloth Belt 217EA measures 1-1/2" x 60" and features A16 grit aluminum oxide abrasive formed using 3M's proprietary micro replication technology, which shapes micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into tiny pyramids coated on a J weight rayon backing. This design allows the abrasive pyramids to wear down consistently, continually exposing fresh, sharp mineral for reliable cutting performance and a predictable fine finish. The belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, intermediate finishing, polishing, and shaping. It serves industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
