The 3M™ Trisect™ belt 953FA measures 6 inches by 132 inches and features a proprietary ceramic grain for fast, aggressive cutting action. It is constructed on an IF-weight cloth backing that provides durability along with additional flexibility. This belt is ideal for dimensioning and blending in wet centerless or flat grinding applications on ferrous, stainless steel, and nonferrous workpieces. It is commonly used in centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, flat finishing, and grinding processes across industries such as builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
