The 3M™ Trisect™ cloth belt 237AA measures 1/2" x 24" and features aluminum oxide abrasive with A160 grit. It uses proprietary micro replication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and coated on an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed, ensuring a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. This belt is suitable for applications such as blending, finishing, and polishing and is used across industries including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
